For a long time, animal leather and plastic-based PVC ruled the industry. We wanted a third option that looks the part and does not come with the environmental bagage.
That’s why we work with bacterial cellulose leather, a material grown by bacteria from food-derived sugars rather than farmed, tanned or extracted from only fossil fuels.
